MemeJam

You've all heard of memes, and we know you've all heard of GameJams; well we've combined them both to have the inaugural SoCs MemeJam! So, how does this work? Well it is super easy! We want you to create the best possible 1 minute meme video with a theme taken from a single topic or element from one of your Uni modules. This can be anything from Computer Architectures to Networking Fundamentals! This may sound a bit daunting but if you are looking for some inspiration then a great example is Harry Riley's (Y2) video showing how he solved in record time the SoCS Freshers Escape Room! If you think you can do the same or even better than submit your meme videos and give it a try! Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 voted meme videos submissions!

Instructions

1. MemeJam submission will open from 4:30 PM Wednesday 11th November
2. The MemeJam will last for 24 hours from the start of the event
3. Submission should be made through the Microsoft Form below
4. Only entries that use a theme from a SoCS module will be accepted/li>
5. You can submit as many entries as you like
6. Videos should be a maximum of 60 seconds long
7. If you wish to resubmit an entry please use the same title
8. To support voting please ensure your video is accessible (such as on YouTube etc)
9. Voting for each of the submissions will open at 4:30 PM Thursday 12th November
10. Winners will be announced at 4:30 PM Friday 13th November
